Hellman, head instructor at Tiger Schulmann's Karate in Clearwater, Florida,
wrote and illustrated this charming book for karate kids.
The book follows a young boy doubtful of his abilities and embarrassed
to join in group sports at school. After starting karate lessons though,
he finds that he truly does have inner strength and can excel once he
puts his mind to things.
This book would make a great gift for a child just starting karate--it
emphasizes and illustrates the positive aspects of martial arts training
